Thank you for exploring the AMP website and hopefully you are following along on my socials! I understand you might have some specific questions about pricing, availability, and the booking process. If you're ready to learn more or have specific questions about a session, you can inquire directly on my contact page. I will respond within 24 hours, either by phone or email, with all the details you need.

Once you've received the information and we've determined that we're the right fit for each other, I will send you an email containing a booking link and a questionnaire. You can secure your booking immediately. The questionnaire will remain open, allowing you ample time to thoughtfully provide your responses.

This questionnaire is a truly essential step in creating a session that perfectly reflects your needs and desires. Your thoughtful answers are the key to capturing the most authentic moments and images possible. I encourage you to begin working on it as soon as you can so I have sufficient time to review your feedback and incorporate it into the planning of your session. I dedicate a significant amount of time to thoughtfully planning each session to ensure it's everything you envision!

After reviewing your questionnaire responses, I'll start planning the details of your session. To finalize these plans, we will schedule a planning call to discuss how we will move forward. During this call, we'll cover specifics such as wardrobe, the personalities of those being photographed, the layout of your home and the best lighting, and any activities you'd like to incorporate to capture your everyday life. For example, this could be something as simple as playing with sidewalk chalk, running through the sprinkler in the summer, or even chasing chickens around the yard!

The day of your session
The day of your session arrives, and because of our thorough planning, you can relax and enjoy the experience! You won't need to worry about whether the kids will cooperate or what's expected of you or your partner – we will have discussed and figured everything out during our planning time. This allows you to be comfortable and confident, leading to images you'll truly love.
What types of sessions do you shoot?
The journey of motherhood and family life is an incredible story, and it all begins with those two pink lines. I specialize in capturing every precious chapter, from maternity and newborn moments to those exciting milestones and the beautiful bonds of family.
Whether you prefer the comfort of your home, the controlled environment of a studio, or the natural beauty of the outdoors, I offer a variety of session options to suit your vision.
when is the best time to schedule a newborn session?
Ideally, newborn sessions are best held within the first two weeks after your baby is born. During this time, newborns are naturally more curly and tend to sleep deeply, which allows us to capture those precious, fleeting newborn details.
I really love the idea of an in-home session but...
I completely understand that the idea of an in-home session might bring up concerns about your home being "picture-perfect." I often hear things like "my house isn't clean enough," or worries about toddler mishaps, or feeling your home doesn't measure up to others you've seen.
My answer to all of that is a resounding, GOOD!
Please know that I don't expect your home to be anything other than yours. It's the backdrop of your story, the place where your everyday moments unfold, and that's precisely what I want to capture. Authenticity and connection are what truly matter, and those are found in the real spaces you inhabit.
where is your studio located?
My home studio is located here in Pearland, TX. One of the things I adore most about my space is the incredible natural light we get, thanks to the south-facing windows. It truly creates the perfect lighting conditions.
Many people are often curious about my studio being in my home. I've dedicated the front two rooms entirely to my photography business. One room serves as a comfortable sitting and dressing area, while the other is my open studio space. The design, with its white walls, white wood floors, and sheer curtains, helps to keep the entire area feeling light, bright, and adaptable for various shoots.
what is it's cloudy or rainy on the day of my session?
As a natural light photographer, optimal lighting conditions are essential for achieving the best results.
Direct sunlight, when used intentionally, can be a powerful artistic element that elevates your images and enhances their emotional impact. To capture this specific effect, I always schedule my sessions at 10AM and I may sometimes request to reschedule a session if the lighting isn't ideal at that time.
Rescheduling, when feasible, allows me to utilize this direct light creatively, ensuring your images are brought to life with a unique emotive touch that both you and I will be much happier with.
Do I get all of the digital images?
Yes, with the digital collection, you will receive all the beautifully edited digital images from our session directly in your online gallery.
The number of images you receive does vary depending on the type of session. For example, family sessions typically yield a larger number of images compared to maternity sessions. This is because family sessions naturally involve more interactions and groupings, which allows for a wider variety of moments to be captured.
Rest assured, my aim is to provide you with all the best images from our time together. I don't hold back any exceptional shots unless they are exact duplicates. My goal is to deliver a diverse gallery filled with a wonderful selection for you to choose from and cherish.
